A contemporary digital piano for musicians of all abilities, the P-255 is suitable for practice and live performance. The compact, portable design means it can be played almost anywhere, without compromising on a full range of performance capabilities.
Comfortable, Graded Hammer Action Keyboard
The keys features synthetic ivory keytops with unique moisture absorption properties, ensuring your fingers don't slip even when you've been playing for a long time. Play any type of music with confidence, the keys made for rapid finger movement. Playing the P-255 feels like you're playing a real acoustic piano, thanks to the Graded Hammer action keyboard which makes the higher keys lighted and the lower keys heavier. You can set the keys to one of four sensitivity levels. The P-255 is the first model in the P-Series which features 256 note polyphony, enabling you to play complex songs with intricate pedal work and many notes.
Versatile Piano Voices
A Pure CF Sound Engine is used to produce the P-255's piano sounds. This tone generator features the recorded sounds of Yamaha's concert grand pianos, replicating the nuances of delicate playing and the power of wide dynamic ranges. Greater realism is given to the P-255 with Key-off Sampling, reproducing a slight change in sound when you remove your fingers from the keys, Sustain Sampling, changing the resonance when the damper pedal is in use, and String Resonance, reproducing the effect of a grand piano hammer causing the strings around to resonate when it hits one particular string.
The round speakers on the P-255 vibrate in a natural way, producing a well-balanced sound, where low notes have a rich tone. Built in tweeters are present, so that the higher notes sound brighter. The P-255 features two 15W amplifiers, delivering a powerful sound.
More Sophisticated Performances
Although it feels and sounds like an acoustic piano, the P-255 lets you express your creativity with a number of built-in options, from rhythm tracks for Jazz, Latin and Swing to a vibrant range of instrument voices including strings, synth and organ.

Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.

No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.
