About Speaker Power

Power amps provide amplification to a mixer or system. The quality of their circuitry is described in terms of class, for example, the class H Electrovoice CP2200 delivers high output with low distortion in a more efficient way than other amps.

Powered mixers are incredibly useful live as they reduce audio routing, and can provide advanced features such as effects and EQ within one unit without the need for further external processors.
