Some microphones have artificially-boosted high frequencies to make them sound bright and airy . However, this accentuates sibilant sounds, and can lead to a very harsh and unpleasant result. The STC-2 has a very smooth high frequency roll-off, ensuring a more natural presence to your recordings.
The STC-2 s low-cut filter and 10dB pad switches will further help you get the best from your recording, making this microphone a really flexible all-round tool for your studio.
A spider suspension mount is also provided, which helps to isolate the sensitive microphone from any transient noises travelling through the microphone stand.
Supplied in a smart aluminium flight case, the STC-2 represents incredible value for money and will put you on the right track to getting great results.
"STC-2 is a refined performer...the high frequencies sound smooth and unhyped, the low end is similarly balanced and the mid range sounds clear and natural."
Huw Price, Music Tech Magazine
"So much better for voice acting work than my previous USB desktop mic. Very much worth the investment, even though it's so much cheaper than the other competitors."

Now Includes: EZ Drummer Lite:
EZdrummer Lite is the stripped down version of the multi-microphone drum-sampler EZdrummer. It is designed for musicians and producers in need of a compact, affordable, easy to handle plug-in without compromising sound quality or control.
The visualized drums in the interface combine auditioning of sounds and drumkit construction. The extensive drag and drop midi-library enables users to create a great drumtrack in less than five mouse-clicks. For more advanced handling, users can control microphone bleeding and levels between drums using the internal mixer. The mixer also allows stereo and multitrack routing into the host through one single plug-in, and thanks to the second generation Toontrack Percussive Compression (TPC), system requirements are kept to a minimum. The drums for EZdrummer Lite were recorded, produced and played by the best in the business at Avatar Studios in New York.
