Acoustic guitar signed by Led Zeppelin to feature in charity auction
An acoustic guitar signed by the members of Led Zeppelin is to feature in an online charity fundraising event.
The instrument, which has been autographed by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, has been donated to the Sod Cancer eBay Auction to raise money for the Institute of Cancer Research.
Led Zeppelin signed the guitar at their last reunion show and a poster from the event will also be up for grabs.
The charity event has been set up in memory of Jerome O'Donohoe, a sound editor who died from a rare and aggressive form of cancer called angiosarcoma last year.
Along with the acoustic guitar from Led Zeppelin, other items that will be feature in the auction include a football shirt from David Beckham which he will sign with a personal message to the winner.
Costumes and props from Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show have also been donated, along with memorabilia from Harry Hill's TV Burp.
Bidding on the various lots will get underway on April 21st at 21:00 and organisers hope to announce the details of more items that will be included in the auction before this date.
