Adele looking to quit London
Having suffered from various throat problems throughout the year, Adele is taking dramatic measures to keep her voice healthy.
This comes on the back of career-saving surgery last month.
The operation was performed by the same surgeon who treated Steven Tyler from Aerosmith.
A source close to her told the Daily Mirror that although it was a success, Adele wants to do everything she can to protect her voice.
"Adele is a London girl through and through, but she's never been particularly into the showbiz circuit so when it was suggested she move out of the city, she agreed immediately," the source said.
"The idea is for her to live in the countryside, away from the capital's smog and pollution."
She won't be jetting off to the US though – it is believed she is looking for a pad somewhere in the countryside where the air is clear.
Forbes recently revealed that Adele was the only British artist it in their richest female artists of the year list. Lady Gaga came in at number one.
