Adele says she is done with writing about heartbreak.
The singer-songwriter, who took home three Grammy Awards this week for record of the year, song of the year (Rolling in the Deep) and album of the year (21), told Vogue that she is done being a "bitter witch".
Adele, who also gave a rousing performance that wowed her fellow musicians and celebrities at the awards ceremony, explained that she is looking to move on from making hit songs that deal with the breakup and aftermath of a doomed romance.
This might have something to do with the fact that she is in a better place. Not only has she returned to singing after nearly a year off due to various throat problems, she is once again in love.
Last month, she confirmed that she was in a relationship. Writing on her blog she hit back at press reports that her current beau Simon was, contrary to reports, not married.
She also added that this would be the last time that she would comment on her love life.
