Aerosmith announce they're back in the recording studio
Aerosmith have announced that they are back in the studio recording their long-awaited 14th album.
Joey Kramer, who plays drums for the celebrated rock band, revealed the news on the social media website Twitter.
He said: "One word about the first day in the studio: inspiring."
Ten hours later he added: "No words can describe how inspired I am feeling in the studio right now... it's a beautiful thing."
The iconic band has also just announced that they will be taking their live show to Japan, which is the first time the band have been to the country since 2004.
Joe Perry, who plays electric guitar in the band, said: "Our fans know how much we love them and we are eager to return and give them the show of a lifetime, especially after the tragedy they have recently been through."
In March, Japan suffered its worst earthquake since records began, whose force triggered a devastating tsunami.
