Alan McGee: Oasis will reform eventually
Creation record label founder Alan McGee has predicted Oasis will eventually get back together.
McGee, who signed the electric guitar band before they hit the big time, said the rift between the two Gallagher brothers that led to the split will be healed over time.
He told BBC 6 Music that he had experience of falling out with his sister before making things up again and predicted the Gallaghers will go through the same process, leading to Oasis reforming in "three or four or five years' time".
McGee revealed that he heard Noel's hotly-anticipated solo recordings and called the demos "absolutely amazing".
"He's got three tunes there that are as good as anything - as Live Forever or Don't Look Back In Anger," he said.
Earlier this year, 20 Oasis tracks, including Acquiesce and The Masterplan, made it into Xfm's list of the greatest 1,000 songs of all time.
