Alice Cooper has announced that he is to play a set of UK dates this October.
Alice Cooper has announced that he will play a number of UK dates this year as part of his Halloween Night of Fear Tour.
The US rocker, whose professional career as a musician extends to over five decades, is a follow up to last year's successful show at London's Roundhouse.
Cooper, who plays the harmonica as well as the electric guitar, has added Sheffield, Bristol, Birmingham, London's Alexandra Palace, Manchester and Glasgow to the tour.
In a move to make the show even more exciting, he is on the lookout for talented circus performers to add some more sizzle to an already electrifying experience.
Cooper said: "That's what Halloween is all about. It's my favourite time of the year, bring on the gore."
Supported by the New York Dolls for some of the dates, the tour will kick off in Sheffield and wrap up in Glasgow.
His new album Welcome 2 My Nightmare, the sequel to 1975's classic Welcome To My Nightmare, will be released in September.
School's Out is one of Cooper's most enduring songs. The song is said to have been inspired by the last-minute feeling of waiting for the school bell to ring to signal school is over.
