Alkaline Trio and The King Blues confirmed for Reading and Leeds
Electric guitar band Alkaline Trio are to appear at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals.
The group will appear as headliners on the Lock Up Stage, which will also feature Against Me, Streetlight Manifesto, The Get Up Kids and Zebrahead among many others this year.
Mike Davies, the Radio 1 DJ who helped put together the line-up for the stage, said: "If you're a fan of punk rock, hardcore, ska and rock 'n' roll then you're going to want to get to the tent early and be prepared to spend the whole day/night there."
A host of other bands have also been confirmed for other stages by the event organisers.
The Kings Blues are to perform on the Main Stage, while Kids in Glass Houses, Los Campesinos! and Miike Snow will play the NME/Radio 1 Stage.
Roots Manuva, Four Tet and Metronomy will all be appearing at the Dance Tent over the course of the festival, which takes place on the August bank holiday weekend.Posted on 25 May 2010 17:45 to category : Band / Celebrity News
