Alkaline Trio star forms new side project
Alkaline Trio singer Matt Skiba has announced he has put a new group together.
He used his Twitter page to reveal that the formation of rock band The Hell, who will include Atom Willard, the man behind the drum kit in Angels and Airwaves.
Willard made his name as the drummer in Rocket From The Crypt, joining the group when he was just 16.
He left in 2000, joining up with The Offspring three years later and staying with the punk band up until 2007, when he decided to focus his efforts on the drum kit on Angels and Airwaves.
The latter band have recently been on a tour of Europe, with shows taking place in Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, France and Belgium during January.
They also played four UK dates at the start in February, with fans in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London able to see the group play live.
Skiba has also been busy recently, contributing vocals to one of the songs on the new Rise Against album.
Along with the rest of the members of Alkaline Trio, he brought out the group's seventh record The Addiction in 2010.
