Arcade Fire planning London date
Indie band Arcade Fire are to play a one-off show in London later this month.
The guitar group are to perform at the Hackney Empire on July 7th 2010, a gig that will be their first in the English capital since 2007, reports NME.
Tickets for the show are to go on sale tomorrow (July 2nd) at 09:00 BST.
Arcade Fire will be back in the UK the following month to headline Reading and Leeds festivals on the August bank holiday weekend, following the release of their third album.
Entitled The Suburbs, it is set to come out on August 2nd.
Earlier this year, band members Will and Win Butler the electric guitar player and lead singer in Arcade Fire revealed why they had chosen that title for the record.
Speaking to the NPR Music radio station, Win stated it was inspired by their move to the suburbs of Houston when they were young.Posted on 1 Jul 2010 15:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
