Arcade Fire 'set for Hyde Park gig'
Indie stars Arcade Fire may be in line for a giant outdoor gig in London's Hyde Park this summer.
According to NME, rumours are circulating that the electric guitar band has been booked to play the venue on June 30th.
If this date is accurate, it could also pave the way for Arcade Fire to put in an appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival, which is occurring between June 25th and 27th.
The magazine said it is expected tickets for the Hyde Park gig will go on sale to the group's fans on January 28th at 09:00 GMT.
Arcade Fire have already announced a number of gigs for 2011, with many of them being European festival dates.
They are to headline the Exit Festival in Serbia in July, as well as playing at the Rock a Field gig in Luxembourg during June.
Further performances have also been lined up in Italy, Austria and France.
Arcade Fire are due to play the Coachella Festival in the US in April, as part of an impressive bill that includes electric guitar band Kings of Leon, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers and indie stars The Strokes.
