The new Arctic Monkeys album is to come out on June 6th in the UK.

Suck It And See is the title of the new record from the electric guitar band, who made the LP in Los Angeles at the Sound City Studios with the help of producer James Ford.

A total of 12 new songs will feature on the album, including Brick by Brick, Reckless Serenade and Love is a Laserquest.

The record will be released one day later in the US, coming out on June 7th.

Arctic Monkeys have a large number of live dates lined up later in the year, with the group due to head out on an American tour in May.

The electric guitar band will then play two homecoming shows at the Sheffield Don Valley Bowl on June 10th and 11th.

They are also lined up for a wide range of festival appearances, including Rock Werchter, T in the Park and Oxegen.

Arctic Monkeys will headline the V Festival as well, appearing on the same bill as the likes of Eminem, Rihanna, Dizzee Rascal, Manic Street Preachers and Primal Scream.

The dual-site event takes place in Essex and Staffordshire on August 20th and 21st.
