The new iSEM app from Arturia is a recreation of the Oberheim SEM synth expander module from 1974.

Revered by many for its rich oscillators, the SEM module has been given a new lease of life by Arturia and is compatible with the iPad 2 and OS 6.0 or later.

It's been faithfully recreated to offer a level of sound quality that only Arturia can bring, using their TAE technology found in the award-winning SEM V software.

iSEM comes with over 500 sounds and includes Audiobus technology so you can integrate with other music apps. Apple's CORE MIDI is also supported, meaning you can team your iPad with the MiniLab keyboard controller.

The real analog sound is based on the TAE analog modeling technology, and the app features a Voice Programmer, allowing you to recreate the rare and classic Oberheim 8 Voice.

The Arturia iSEM app is available to download now from the app store.
