Avid's Latest Interface - More Than It Seems?

Avid Fast Track Solo and Fast Track Duo
Avid Fast Track Audio Interfaces
Launched at Musikmesse 2013, Avid's new audio intrefaces, the Fast Track Solo and Fast Track Duo, seem to offer a complete home studio solution - all for £139 for Solo and £239 for Duo.

The two new interfaces are more than just a simple soundcard, coming with a host of extra tools to help musicians use the Fast Tracks to their full potential.

Firstly, Pro Tools Express is included with both Solo and Duo giving musicians and producers access to the same creative tools and workflows as the professionals use in the industry standard Pro Tools. Pro Tools Express gives you three virtual instruments (hundreds of sounds), plus over 25 effects, sound processing and utility plug-ins.

Add to this the iLok USB key, which you'd normally need to buy separately, and that usually retails for around £37.95. Plus, also included in the box are two cables, USB and iOS dock 30 pin adapter which would usually set you back about £10.

Last but not least, Avid's current offer means that when users buy before June 14th 2013 and register their new Fast Track with Avid online before June 28th 2013 they can claim two plug-ins completely free.

Eleven gives users access to the sounds of the world's most coveted vintage and modern guitar and bass amps, cabinets, and effects in Pro Tools, with jaw-dropping realism right down to the feel. Whilst the Moogerfooger Bundle brings the vintage sounds of analog synths to your modern-day repertoire with a collection of four classic effects: Analog Delay, 12-Stage Phaser, Lowpass Filter, and Ring Modulator

These two plug-ins would usually retail for £634 in Avid's online store!

Fast Track Solo and Fast Track Duo are due into store later this month with pre-orders available now. Explore the Avid range further over at Gear4music.com.
