Beach Boys collections set for release
And the well-known music instruments playing band is set to bring the LP out come autumn 2012, it has announced.
Another collection, featuring two discs and a larger array of tracks, is planned for the same period.
The first collection is called simply Greatest Hits, while the second has been given the sub-title Fifty Big Ones.
The Beach Boys have had chart success in the UK since the 1960s – the decade when the likes of Good Vibrations and I Get Around were released as singles in the country.
Over the years the band has released many albums – including various different retrospective collections.
Of course one of their most famous albums is the well-respected LP Pet Sounds, which first emerged back in 1966. It contains tracks such as Hang On To Your Ego and Wouldn't It Be Nice.
