Belle and Sebastian to join Vampire Weekend at Latitude
Electric guitar band Vampire Weekend will be joined as headliners at this year's Latitude Festival by Florence and the Machine, as well as indie legends Belle and Sebastian, who will be making their first UK live appearance since 2006.
Other acts also announced for the festival, which is to be held between July 15th and 18th 2010 in Suffolk's Henham Park, include The Maccabees, acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela and hotly-tipped newcomers The xx.
Empire of the Sun, The Horrors and Charlotte Gainsbourg have also been booked for the event.
Joe Dunn, music arenas booker for Latitude, said: "I'm excited and honoured that such acts as Florence and the Machine, Belle and Sebastian and Vampire Weekend will be headlining our main stage."
