Blink 182 confirm 2010 shows
Blink 182 have confirmed they will perform next year.
The 'I Miss You' hitmakers - who reunited earlier this year after a four-year split - have announced they will be playing several festival venues next summer in Europe.
They wrote on their twitter account: "Hello Europe. Tour Dates up for 2010: http://pickrset.com/bands/blink182"
At present, the rockers - consisting of guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, bassist and singer Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker - have confirmed they will play two concerts in Germany.
The trio are set to kick off their summer shows with a performance at the Area 4 Festival on August 21, and at the Highfield Festival the next day (22.08.10).
The timing of these shows has sparked online rumours the 'All The Small Things' hitmakers will also perform at the Reading and Leeds Festivals a week later, when the legendary music event takes place in England between August 27 and 29.
However, festival organisers have failed to comment.
In February this year, Blink 182 appeared onstage together at the Grammys for the first time since 2004 and announced they were reforming following earlier tensions within the group.
The band are believed to have put their tempestuous past behind them when they learnt their former producer Jerry Finn died of a cerebral haemorrhage in August 2008.Posted on 30 Dec 2009 07:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
