Blink 182 drummer 'recruits stars for solo album'
Travis Barker, the man behind the drum kit in Blink 182, has recruited a host of stars to perform on his forthcoming solo album.
According to a report in XXL Magazine, artists such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Lupe Fiasco have all contributed to the record.
The Blink 182 star has produced several hip-hop remixes in the past few years and it seems to have helped him build plenty of contacts, as other acts reported to appear on Barker's album include Pharrell, Rza and Lil Wayne.
Barker has played the drums on the album, as well as producing it.
The record is pencilled in for an October release date.
Barker will be in his normal position on the drums for Blink 182 later this month, as the pop-punk band headline the Reading and Leeds festivals.
The group are also set to play shows in Holland, Germany, France, Ireland, Austria and Italy over the course of the next few weeks.
