Blink 182 extend UK arena tour
Electric guitar band Blink 182 have announced three extra dates for their 2011 tour of the UK. The pop-punk stars are to play shows in Sheffield, Cardiff and an additional gig in London, as well as their previously-announced performances in this country.
They are to visit the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on July 7th and the Cardiff International Arena on July 16th, while playing for the second night in succession at the O2 Arena in London on July 19th.
Blink 182 are also lined up for appearances in Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham. All of these shows, plus their first date in London, have already sold out. Further gigs for summer 2011 have been announced for Germany and Italy.
Earlier this year, the band made their comeback in front of UK audiences by headlining the Reading and Leeds festival as part of a line-up that also included the likes of Arcade Fire, The Libertines and Queens of the Stone Age.
