Blondie's Jackson tribute
Blondie paid tribute to Michael Jackson at their Kenwood House show on Saturday (26.06.10).
The iconic group performed a rendition of 'Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough' by the late King of Pop - who died of acute Propofol intoxication on June 25 2009 - at the first of the London venue's English Heritage picnic concerts.
The band's hit-laden set featured crowd-pleasers including 'Atomic', 'The Tide Is High', 'Hangin' On The Telephone', 'Maria', 'Call Me' and 'Picture This', interspersed with material from their forthcoming album 'Panic of Girls'.
Singer Debbie Harry, 64, proved that getting older doesn't mean growing any less glamorous, with her chic black outfit making her as stylish as female stars half her age.
Though her voice can no longer reach the high notes it used to, she still has the vocal power to give the tracks exactly what they need, much to the delight of the audience.
The crowd - basking in the evening sunshine - also enjoyed music from British rockers Little Fish.
The English Heritage picnic concerts continue at Kenwood House throughout the summer, with Rufus Wainwright, Will Young and Jamie Cullum among those scheduled to perform.
