Electric guitar player Graham Coxon has confirmed that Blur are not planning to reunite in the near future.

The band got back together earlier this year to perform a series of gigs, which included headline slots at Glastonbury and T in the Park.

Coxon enjoyed the experience so much that he said he would be willing to join Damon Albarn and co in the studio to record a new album.

However, the guitarist has now confirmed that Blur will not take their brief reunion any further.

Speaking to NME, he commented: "We're in touch but nothing has been mentioned about any more shows or anything else."

"Everyone's slipped back into what they do when the Blur creature isn't heaving around."

Blur are widely regarded as one of the seminal bands of the 1990s and were behind many of the decade's most memorable records, including Parklife, Girls and Boys, Country House and Song 2.

Superb value Electric Guitars available now.
