Blur 'set to make new album'
Electric guitar band Blur are set to get back together in order to create a new album.
An inside source told the Sun that the original line-up of the indie band - Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree - have booked recording sessions for January with the intention of possibly bringing out a new record in late 2011.
"The lads will be getting in the studio early next year," said the insider.
"There's no concrete plans regarding what they will do with the material, but if they're all agreed it could become the first full Blur album to feature all four members in over a decade."
Coxon left the group in 2002, rejoining the rest for a series of hugely successful reunion shows in 2009.
Blur also released limited-edition single Fool's Day in April and are now set to work together once more after Albarn's touring commitments with his other band Gorillaz come to an end in the near future.
Gorillaz are currently completing their extensive world tour with a series of dates in Australia and New Zealand.
They are to play a final show in Auckland on December 21st, having previously visited Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.
