Bob Dylan to headline London Feis festival
Acoustic guitar player Bob Dylan has been announced as the headline act for a new Irish festival to be held in London in the summer.
The London Feis will take place at Finsbury Park on June 18th and intends to celebrate 21 years of the best Irish and international music.
Festival boss Vince Power expressed his pleasure at managing to secure the booking of Dylan.
"The inaugural London Feis will be a fantastic edition to the capital's summer calendar and announcing Bob Dylan for an exclusive UK performance means that the first year will be one to remember," he said.
"I've worked with Bob many times before and am delighted to have him back again."
The legendary musician is the only act currently confirmed for the bash, but organisers promised plenty more names will be announced across the festival's three stages in the near future.
Tickets for London Feis went on sale yesterday (March 9th).
Dylan is set to tour Australia during April, playing shows in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Byron Bay and Sydney.
He is also due to play gigs in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand during the same month.
