Bombay Bicycle Club to headline Underage Festival
Indie band Bombay Bicycle Club have been announced as the headline act for this year's Underage Festival.
The group, who had success last year with acoustic album Flaws, are to be joined on the bill for the event by the likes of Brother, Roll Deep, Frankie and the Heartstrings and Janelle Monae.
Underage Festival will take place in Victoria Park, London on Friday August 5th, with tickets only available to people aged between 13 and 18.
A total of 10,000 passes will go on sale for the bash, which will get underway at 11:00 BST and run until 20:00.
Earlier this year, Bombay Bicycle Club singer Jack Steadman announced the band would be returning to their electric guitars for their next record despite doing well with Flaws.
He told NME they intended to go back to the way they made debut album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose.
"Everyone is excited about going back and plugging in," he said. "We're all dying to do it because we miss it so much."
At the time of the interview in January, the band were hoping the new LP would be ready for release in June.
