Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal commended
The Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal has been praised for offering guitarists a considerable amount of range and control.
According to Edsel Kim of the Examiner, the gadget has been favoured by many of the world's most famous electric guitar players, including Steve Vai, Kurt Cobain and Joe Satriani.
While Mr Kim acknowledged that it may not be suitable for genres such as blues, he noted that it has become a staple for many rock guitarists.
"If you are looking for an awesome distortion pedal on a budget, I would strongly advise you to buy this legendary pedal," he commented.
"Plug this bad boy into your amp and rock."
Meanwhile, Boss has launched its new FRV-1 Fender Reverb pedal, which it says would be ideal for playing rockabilly, country, blues and grunge rock.
The effects unit was described as affordable, rugged and compact and should be available from next month.Posted on 18 Jun 2009 12:12 to category : Instruments News
