Boss effects pedals used by Tegan and Sara
One of the members of Tegan and Sara has spoken about the duo's use of Boss effects pedals on the recording of their latest album.
Speaking to the Gibson website, Tegan Quin explained that the pair were encouraged to try out new techniques on the record, which is entitled Sainthood, by producer Chris Walla, of Death Cab for Cutie fame.
Quin explained that a Boss Chorus pedal and a Boss Digital Reverb pedal were in regular use on almost every song on the record.
She said it was all part of Walla's attempts to give Sainthood a "more cohesive rock/ pop band record feel" in comparison to Tegan and Sara's denser recordings in the past.
The pair, who are identical twin sisters, are booked to play at this year's Glastonbury Festival a show which will be preceded by an appearance at the Roundhouse in London on June 24th 2010.Posted on 12 May 2010 15:47 to category : Band / Celebrity News
