Boss to launch new looping station at Musikmesse
The device is ideal for beatboxers, singers and club performers, providing a hands-on looper which is unlike many other similar products.
Conventional pedals are controlled by foot, but the RC-505 is meant for tabletop use meaning that it provides the perfect tool for DJ booths or other club environments.
Boss' latest looper has been described as the "evolution" of the loop station and is the first time that one of these devices has been created with the solo performer in mind as usually they are aimed at bands.
The RC-505 supports microphones, instruments, smart phones and other audio sources with five stereo phrases tracks that allow for three hours of sampling time.
Officials explained that the device will be launched at this year's Musikmesse event which is due to take place in Frankfurt, Germany, on April 10th through to April 13th bringing together all the very best the music biz has to offer.
