Breakfast show swap at Radio 1
According to a BBC statement, Chris Moyles revealed yesterday that that's when he will be leaving the station's Breakfast Show.
Nick Grimshaw, 27, is going to be the show's next presenter, having already hosted a regular Radio 1 programme - that airs between 10pm and 12am five days a week – from 2009 onwards.
Nick has talked of his excitement, saying: "I'm super excited to be hosting the iconic Radio 1 Breakfast Show, it's been a dream of mine since the age of 11 and to be honest it hasn't really sunk in yet."
He also praised Moyles, explaining that, in his opinion, the long-time Breakfast Show host is "one of the best broadcasters ever".
As part of Moyles' live Breakfast Show explanation about the fact that he's departing the programme, he said: "even during tough times this show has honestly been the best 3.5 hours of my day, every day," according to the BBC.
