Carl Barat announces UK tour dates
Libertines star Carl Barat will be taking his electric guitar around the country in February and March next year after he announced details of a solo tour.
He released a self-titled debut album earlier this year, with the next single from the record - entitled So Long, My Lover - due to come out on December 13th.
Barat will begin his 2011 tour in Norwich on February 18th, moving on to play shows in Oxford, Bristol, Brighton and Portsmouth, reports NME.
The electric guitar player will then visit Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow before wrapping up the gig run with a performance at the Sheffield Leadmill on March 2nd.
Barat is currently coming to the end of a separate tour of the UK and Europe, which has seen him perform in Amsterdam, Cologne and Paris.
He is due to bring the tour to a close tonight (November 11th 2010) for a final show in Bologna.
