Carl Barat to play solo set at Glastonbury
Rock star Carl Barat is join a line up of acoustic guitar players for a solo show on the Leftfield Stage at this year's Glastonbury festival.
The Dirty Pretty Things frontman is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the famous Somerset event with the special performance, which will sit alongside sets from Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Reverend and the Makers and Frank Turner.
According to NME, the stage will play host to both politically-minded concerts and debates and is curated by acoustic guitar aficionado Billy Bragg, who will also headline the arena on the Saturday night (June 26th 2010).
Other performances will include gigs from the Beautiful South's Paul Heaton, the King Blues, Thea Gilmore and Lucky Soul, while U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder are set to wow fans on the Pyramid Stage.
