Casio digital piano ranges 'proving very popular'
A Casio executive has outlined his company's strategy of making musical equipment aimed at people who may be purchasing their first instrument.
Andy Carvill, a divisional manager for the firm, told MI-Pro that the past 12 months have seen Casio increase its market share for instruments priced under £1,000.
"Of course the market is competitive, but Casio has a fantastic name in the keyboard market and the new Privia and Celviano digital pianos launched last autumn have proved very popular," he explained.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that TV presenter and former pop star Myleene Klass is lending her support to Casio's Piano for Schools scheme.
The company is providing 50 pianos to different establishments around the country to encourage more children to learn how to play.Posted on 9 Jul 2010 16:10 to category : Instruments News
