Cello player makes tiny musical instruments
David Edwards, 75, who used to be a professional cellist, has now swapped his life on the stage for crafting diminutive musical instruments, reported the Press Association.
Mr Edwards, who used to play for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, has even made a tiny Stradivarius, a violin whose name has become synonymous for excellence.
Speaking to the news provider, he said: "I make all my own decisions. It's hard work being self-employed because people tend to work much longer hours. But I enjoy my own freedom and deciding what I want to do. I've never been happier."
The Design Council, which has been amazed by his work, have organised an exhibition of Mr Edwards's musical instruments.
Meanwhile, a six-year old cello player has been wowing audiences with her amazing skills.
Luka Coetze first picked up the instrument at the tender age of two.
