Chris Martin admits his kids don't listen to his music
Speaking to USA Today, he said: "I don't make them listen to it. No one in our family has to listen to it."
The usually introverted star opened up his heart about the effects being a father has had on him both personally and professionally, saying he is now more focused than ever on not wasting time.
"So that's affected my editing process...You don't want to spend months and months doing something and have it turn out terrible. You want your kids to be proud, basically. So it gives you extra drive," he told the news provider.
At last month's Digital Music Awards, Coldplay won the fan-voted award for Best Official Site.
On hearing the news, the band naturally took to their website to make a comment: "For tonight at least, it seems Coldplay pretty much rule the internet."
Their new album is scheduled for release on October 24th.
