Chrissie Hynde to release solo album
The Pretenders' frontwoman and electric guitar player is gearing up to release a new solo album.
Chrissie Hynde revealed that she is working with producer JP Jones on the project, which she described as her best solo album yet.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the Fender Telecaster player said this is partly because she finds Jones an inspirational person to work with.
However, she could not confirm when her latest musical venture would be ready for release.
"There's no time limit so it'll be out when I feel ready," she commented.
"Hopefully sometime this year."
Hynde added that her new record is going to be "incredible".
The electric guitar player made her name with The Pretenders in the late 1970s and still tours the world and records with the band today.
Their many hits include Brass in Pocket, 2,000 Miles, Middle of the Road and Back on the Chain Gang.Posted on 6 Jan 2010 12:02 to category : Band / Celebrity News
