Christina Aguilera says tour was `rushed'
Christina Aguilera postponed her tour because "it felt too rushed".
The 'Dirrty' singer has explained she put her US tour, which was set to start next month, on hold because she has been so busy shooting her new movie 'Burlesque'.
It was initially claimed the 29-year-old pop star - whose new album `Bionic' has now been released worldwide - decided to postpone the shows by a year after critics accused her of copying Lady Gaga.
Christina told The Sun newspaper: "I'm such a perfectionist. I'm not doing something unless I give it my all. I haven't had time to think about the tour, what with the film. The tour is postponed. But it's definitely going to happen. I was going crazy trying to figure out what the set list was and it felt too rushed, too soon."
But Christina, who was due to tour with Leona Lewis, has promised fans she will hit the road in 2011.
She added: "I knew I wouldn't have time to do it so the biggest, better `Bionic' tour will be next year, when we do have time."
Christina gave fans a glimpse of what's to come when she performed a medley of tracks from 'Bionic' at this year's MTV Movie Awards.Posted on 10 Jun 2010 10:00 to category : Music News
