Coldplay tweet colourful sentences
Coldplay have embraced the power of social media to full effect by posting three tweets that contain links to text pictures that at first seem like random letters, keeping fans in suspense as to what the band are up to.
However, once all the colourful flashing letters are put together the secret is "sort of" revealed as they form sentences.
The first tweet contains the message 'Maybe the Trees Are Gone', the second tweet reads 'Maybe The Streets Alight 'and the last message, which doesn't flash but contains a beating heart, says 'I Feel My Heart Beating To My Favourite Song'.
Chris Martin, Coldplay's singer-songwriter and piano player, and the rest of the band have not made any recent statements about this, leaving ardent fans guessing as to what it could mean.
The tweets could be actual titles to a new album, which they are currently busy working on with hit-making producer Brian Eno, or even possible song titles of their new tracks.
Before those three messages appeared, the band had posted another tweet: "I turn The Music Up/ I got my records on/ I shout the world outside until the lights come on."
The industry is buzzing. After all, up until this point, the band has posted regular tweets about photo shoots, upcoming gigs and other regular news. Nothing like this.
Martin's wife Gwyneth Paltrow was recently seen in the hit TV show Glee as a substitute music teacher. Such has been success of her performance that the movie star may even be touring with the cast when they come to the UK.
