Craig Morgan donates acoustic guitar to school
Craig Morgan, who is also a veteran of the US army, has donated 15 acoustic guitars to Dickson Middle School, which is a massive boost to its music program.
According to the Tennessean, his charitable efforts don't stop there – the generous musician is going to help the school apply for the student songwriting initiative through The Country Music Hall of Fame.
"Music has always been such an important part of my life," the star said.
"I'm happy to give back so that others can share in that experience."
After he delivered the batch of acoustic guitars to the school, he spent some time with youngsters discussing the importance of music and how anyone can make it, imparting tips along the way.
"Songwriting induces the creative juices like nothing else, and I think that's a wonderful thing," Morgan told the news provider.
"And what that does, it not only gets them to thinking about writing songs, it makes them creative all around."
