Dermot O'Leary for X Factor 2012
Now it has come to light that presenter Dermot O'Leary is definitely going to be appearing in more X Factor episodes, when the singing series returns to our screens.
Once again he'll be there for presenting duties on the programme that launched the careers of the likes of Cher Lloyd, Leona Lewis, One Direction, Olly Murs and singer and guitar player Matt Cardle.
O'Leary has commented: "I'm delighted to be returning to The X Factor as I just love the gig."
Singer Gary Barlow, of Take That, is also going to be on the show – though he'll be a judge, as will long-time talent show judge Louis Walsh.
Last year, Barlow took charge of the Boys category on the programme, which featured the singer Marcus Collins. Collins recently reached number 7 in the album chart with his self-titled record.
