Next year's Download Festival is taking shape after seven more bands were added to the line-up.

Queens of the Stone Age and 30 Seconds To Mars will be making a return to the iconic metal festival held at Donington Park, which will no doubt be already whetting the appetite of fans across the UK.

New Jersey punks The Gaslight Anthem and British legends Motörhead will also be appearing on the bill with the former making their second appearance at Download in two years.

Alice In Chains and A Day To Remember will be performing across the three-day event, as well as Finnish rockers HIM.

It kicks off on June 14th 2013, providing the very best in alternative music.

Download revealed the headliners of the festival earlier in the year with rock and roll royalty Iron Maiden, Slipknot and Rammstein set to smash through sets over the three days.

Fans are able to get their hands on tickets now with prices starting from £170 for 'arena only' while camping prices range from £195 for three days up to £205 for five days.

Download 2012 saw the likes of Metallica, The Prodigy, Black Sabbath and Biffy Clyro all take to the stage.
