DragonForce star to appear at Guitar Nation
DragonForce electric guitar player Herman Li is to host a series of masterclasses at a music industry conference in Birmingham.
Li is to appear at the Guitar Nation event, which is taking place at the NEC on May 7th and 8th.
He will be joined by blues expert Stephen Dale Petit and Bernie Marsden - who is to perform a tribute to Rory Gallagher - at the show, reports MI-Pro.
Show organiser Clive Morton said he was particularly thrilled to have secured the booking of Li, especially when it is considered that DragonForce have been the most-successful British metal act in America for the last two decades, as well as enjoying strong sales in Australia and Canada.
"Tickets for the masterclass are expected to sell very quickly as Herman Li has huge appeal to young metal fans and fits perfectly with the co-promotion lined-up with Kerrang Radio," he added.
In 2008, Li was honoured by guitar manufacturer Ibanez, which created a signature E-Gen model for the star to use, as well as for his fans to purchase so they could emulate his playing.
