Affectionately known as 'Doozys', Duesenberg Guitars are built in Germany using traditional techniques with modern details and an art-deco style.

Artists who have recently picked up a Duesenberg Guitar include Elvis Costello, Slash and even Johnny Depp who has a signature model.

The versatile Starplayer TV is Doozy's best-selling model. Founder Dieter Golsdorf explains their sound. "Our parts don't just come out of the same box that supplies nearly every other manufacturer," said Golsdorf. "Duesenbergs present something different to the eye. And when people plug these guitars in, they sound different, too."

You can take a look at all of our Duesenberg Starplayer TV Hollowbody Guitars including the Starplayer TV Deluxe Hollowbody in Crimson Red.

The Duesenberg PLEK Machine

Every Doozy guitar is PLEK-ed to eliminate string buzz and dead spots. After it's been tuned, a guitar gets placed into the machine which measures the neck, frets and string height. PLEK produces a graph which shows where the fret should then be cut, precise to 1000th of a millimetre!
