Duff McKagan set for Birmingham Guitar Show appearance
Legendary bass guitar player Duff McKagan is set to make a special appearance at a music industry event in the Midlands later this month.
The musician, who has made his name in Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, is set to attend the Birmingham Guitar Show, which is taking place on February 26th and 27th at the city's New Bingley Hall.
He will be participating in several signing sessions at the conference, reports MI-Pro.
Show manager Jason Hunt said: "We're thrilled to be able to welcome Duff to the show.
"He's been an inspiration to rock musicians for two decades, so we're very pleased to be able to give visitors the chance to meet a true legend."
Mr Hunt added that the bass guitar player's attendance will provide the "icing on the cake" of what should be a great weekend.
Tickets for the event cost £8.50 if purchased in advance, with this price rising to £10 for anyone who decides to pay on the door.
