Eagles to headline Hop Farm Music Festival
Eagles and Bryan Ferry have been announced as performing at the Hop Farm Music Festival in July.
The 'Hotel California' rockers are to headline one of the days of the festival, which takes place on July 1 and 2, while Roxy Music frontman Bryan has also been added to the bill, alongside The Killlers' Brandon Flowers, US indie group Death Cab For Cutie and 70s English soft rockers 10cc.
Festival boss Vince Power said: "Really happy to start to announce the Hop Farm's line up, now in its 4th year.
"After last year's success with Bob Dylan and Mumford and Sons to name but a few of the huge acts, it's my opinion that the Hop Farm is well and truly on the UK festival map and will go from strength to strength as one of the few independent festivals left in the country."
The festival has a no sponsorship and no branding policy and further line up announcements will be made later this week, filling in more of the bill, which will see acts appear across four music stages, a comedy and a campsite stage.
Tickets for the Hop Farm festival are priced at £130 for the weekend or £70 per day, and are on sale now.Posted on 21 Feb 2011 16:15 to category : Music News
