Edinburgh Guitar and Music Festival to provide great attractions
Music enthusiasts from all over the UK are set to descend on Edinburgh's Corn Exchange between May 25th and 27th to learn about the various different techniques in a series of over 20 seminars held during the weekend.
Marking its debut year, musicians will be able to gain valuable knowledge on a number of different of topics including Becoming a Studio Guitarist, Surviving as a Rock Guitarist and Funk & Soul Guitar among a host of other lessons.
Guitarists and leading tutors such as Phil Hilborne, Shaun Baxter and Kevin MacKenzie will be leading the sessions and players will get a CD to take away with them for future practice sessions at home.
STV also reported that there will be a world record attempt as organisers are running a charity fundraising Minstrel Walk where people will be invited to dress up in costume and walk around the space playing I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers.
Guitar seminars cost £10 each with concessions priced at £8.
