Electric guitar giants to feature on new DVD
Four of the most famous electric guitar bands of all time are to feature together on a new DVD.
Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth went on a joint European tour earlier this year and the results of their show in Sofia are to feature on the two-disc set.
Entitled The Big Four Live From Sofia, the DVD includes the full performances from each band, along with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, reports NME.
Lars Ulrich, the man behind the drum kit in Metallica, said the disc acts as a tribute to the longevity of all four bands.
"Who would have thought that, more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal's Big Four would not only still be around, be more popular than ever, playing shows together at stadiums all over Europe," he stated.
The DVD is to be released on October 25th 2010.
Metallica are currently on tour in Australia, with further dates lined up this month in New Zealand and Japan.
