Electric guitar hero Slash to perform at T in the Park
Electric guitar hero Slash has announced he will perform at T in the Park this summer.
The former Guns N' Roses guitarist will take to the stage in Balado, Scotland, on July 9th to show off his world-famous skills to the audience.
He will join the likes of KT Tunstall, Blondie, Ocean Colour Scene and The Saturdays, who have also been announced as part of the festival's line-up.
Since becoming a household name with Guns N' Roses - known for hit songs including Sweet Child O' Mine and November Rain - Slash has gone on to play with other groups such as Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver.
The musician has also worked as a solo artist and his second album is due out sometime next year.
But fans may get the chance to his new songs at the festival, which is being held between July 8th and 10th, before Slash goes on to perform other gigs around Europe.
He is due to entertain crowds at Le Zenith in France and the Sonisphere Festival in Spain before returning to the UK, playing at High Voltage in London on July 23rd.Posted on 19 Apr 2011 11:47 to category : Band / Celebrity News
