Electronic Music Game Inspired By Guitar Hero Unveiled

Ableton Push
Ableton Push
We have all heard of the internationally popular game Guitar Hero? Well, a Canadian artist called Hrdvsion, created his own brilliant version of the game using Ableton’s Push.

The aptly named – Push Hero – uses clips and MIDI effects and works in a similar fashion to that of arcade dancing mats – but using your hands instead of your feet.

Ableton Push is a unique MIDI controller for Ableton Live 9 made in partnership with Akai Professional. Push gives you hands on control of Live software - harmony, melody, sounds, beats and song structure.

The game was initially meant to help children learn how to use Ableton Live software, however, this has now been made available to everyone. Even the Ableton staff had a go and found it a little trickier than anticipated.

Push Hero can be downloaded here. Follow Gear4music.com on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to hear about the latest music gear offers and news.
