Elton John's piano finds a London home
The instrument has kindly been donated to a new performance space in South Quay, much to the delight of the director of the space at the Milharbour facility, reported The Wharf.
It's quite a feat for the projects as it's not very often Elton John's musical instruments are gifted so freely.
"The people from Yamaha came down here and said it was a fantastic space and they wanted to get involved. The piano just arrived from that," director Janet Viola told the news provider.
"Since then we keep getting calls from people saying 'how have you got this piano'?"
Through deft skill, the piano was carefully carried up the stairs of the fire escape.
Elton has been busy in Las Vegas recently but still found time to pass on his skills to Lady Gaga.
The fashionista musician told MTV: "My next duet, I believe, will be with Elton.
"I'm already working on my next album, and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it. I don't want to give anything [else] away!"
